You might pray for financial success, a better job, or more influence. And none of that is wrong in itself — but what happens if those things actually pull your heart away from Jesus?

We are called to be saints, yet we are still feeble. We are called to be examples, even while we wrestle. This is the call.

I ask the Lord, Where is my portion? Where is my peace? I speak not from a place of joy to do righteousness—but from a place of deep desire. I know what must be done. I know that self must be laid at the altar of sacrifice.

This is where I become like my Lord.
This is submission.
This is faith.
This is obedience
